Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to own and drive our end-to-end quality assurance strategy. The ideal candidate will
lead a team of quality engineers, establish robust testing frameworks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and
reliable software. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to design automation frameworks, perform
in-depth testing, and maintain high standards across all releases.

Key Responsibilities Areas

1) QA Leadership & Strategy

➢ Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
➢ Define and drive overall QA strategy, test planning, and execution across projects.
➢ Participate in requirements and architecture reviews with a focus on testability and automation strategy.
➢ Estimate testing efforts, assess quality risks, and ensure timely, high-quality releases.
➢ Capture QA metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

2) Test Planning, Execution & Automation

➢ Design comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
➢ Develop and maintain automated regression suites and test harnesses using Selenium and Appium.
➢ Integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
➢ Conduct exploratory, regression, and non-functional testing to ensure performance and stability.
➢ Ensure effective defect reporting, tracking, and closure using JIRA and TestRail.
➢ Collaborate with development and product teams to align QA outcomes with business objectives.

3) Continuous Improvement & Quality Engineering

➢ Continuously enhance test automation frameworks and methodologies for better efficiency and coverage.
➢ Advocate for non-functional testing areas including Performance (JMeter), Security, and Accessibility testing.
➢ Maintain clear documentation of testing procedures, tools, and frameworks.
➢ Promote a quality-first mindset across engineering teams through active collaboration and process improvement.

Technical Skills

● Strong hands-on experience in Selenium, Appium, and Java.
● Proficiency in SQL, Git, JIRA, and TestRail (or equivalent tools).
● Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
● Experience in setting up automation frameworks from scratch.
● Exposure to performance testing using tools like JMeter.
● Knowledge of mobile and web application testing, including usability, regression, localization, and system testing.

Must have:

● Proven experience leading QA teams and managing project-level quality.
● Strong understanding of automation frameworks, manual testing, and testing methodologies.
● Ability to design and implement test automation strategies aligned with business needs.
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred (Good to Have)

● Experience in API automation (RestAssured, Postman).
● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud testing tools.
● Awareness of security, accessibility, and compliance testing standards.
● Experience using or integrating AI-driven test frameworks for smarter automation, predictive analysis, or self-healing tests.
● Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
● At least 3 years of industry experience
● Experience in fintech domain will be a plus
